GES-2 ARCS “FACADE” by Raduga Grëz is a story of architecture, transformation, and imagination.
Created in collaboration with GES-2, this beautifully crafted toy invites children of all ages to explore through open-ended play. There’s no fixed outcome—only freedom to imagine, create, and discover.
At first glance, the GES-2 House of Culture appears to be a modern architectural marvel in the heart of Moscow. But its story runs much deeper. Originally built as a power station over 100 years ago, it powered the Kremlin, trams, and the city center through revolutions, wars, and decades of change. In 2021, thanks to the V–A–C Foundation and visionary architect Renzo Piano, it was transformed into a cultural space open to all.
This block set recreates the building’s iconic façade—the side facing the Patriarchal Bridge—with its striking blue chimneys and historic arches that blend the old and the new.
Part of a two-set series by Raduga Grez, GES-2 Arcs “Facade” can be combined with the “Interior” set to expand the possibilities of storytelling and design.
